Confucius | China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater

On November 4, the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater will present a spectacular dance performance inspired by the life of the great thinker. The China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater will make a stop at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, in order to give the audience a magical night where classical ballet narrates the great philosophical tradition of China.



60 dancers dancers take us to the life and times of Confucius, the colors and flavors of the Far East on a single memorable show. The show narrates the difficult yet charming journey of the philosopher. Viewers will meet the wise official Confucius, whose enlightened administration faced the absolute enmity of the nobility. Although forced to exile, he never lost his optimism, till he became the Great Master of Eastern Philosophy. He is the thinker whose teachings lead to an internal harmony and the man who believed that the good are never unhappy, the wise never confused, and the brave never afraid.
