Chinese Folk Music Concert “Treasure of the Nation” Debuts in Sydney.


SYDNEY, Feb. 21 -- Chinese folk music Concert 'Treasure of the Nation' staged in Sydney, Australia on February 20. The concert brought authentic yet refreshing feast of Chinese folk music to Australian audience.

Fifty brilliant musicians from China National Opera and Dance Drama Theatre presented the concert, which took in elements from different ethnic minorities while blending the past and the present expression of music together. What’s more, the concert combined perfectly the classic and popular genre, giving the wide audience very unique enjoyment of their ears.

Beginning with the familiar melody of Spring Festival Overture, the show explored different tones and style, in one moment as powerful as a punch, in another moment gentle like the creek singing. The whole audience were mesmerized in this journey of Chinese folk music, as if they discovered a world away and saw the splendid scenery in different parts of China.

The Chinese Music Orchestra is a world-renowned music group with history of over 50 years. During their past decades of performing music, they developed unique art style as well as cultivated a group of artists with great attainments.
