"Our
Chinese Dream ? Voluntary Cultural Services for the Grassroots"
According
to the requirements of the Notice from
Central Civilization Office of the Ministry
of Culture on the Event of "Our Chinese Dreams -Voluntary Cultural
Services for the Grassroots" in 2014, China National Opera & Dance Drama
Theater actively carried out the campaign themed "Great Affection" for national art troupes to provide services
for the grassroots.

Based on the negotiation with Guiyang Bureau of Culture and Broadcast,
the large original dance dram Confucius
of China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater would be presented for the public at the international conference center theater of Guizhou Hotel.

The
dance drama Confucius uses dance
elements to describe Confucius's experience in traveling in all the kingdoms
and the difficulties in putting the Confucianism into practice. The drama presents Confucius's mind and feelings with abundant melody and staged
imagery, shows
Confucius's idea, spirit, wisdom, and passes the essence of Chinese traditional
culture. We will invite low-income groups, empty nest aged people,
left-behind children, disabled people and other special groups and
disadvantaged groups in communities to watch the performance in order to meet grassroots cultural demands.
