In 2014, China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater visited Korea with "Chinese Youth Delegation"

Between October 22 and October 29, 2014 when the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party was held, at the invitation of Female Family Department of South Korea, Chinese Youth Delegation Visiting South Korea consisting of 200 people made a 8-day-long friendly visit of South Korea under the leadership of delegation head Chen Zong. Of the 200 people organized by All-China Youth Federation, all of members are outstanding representatives across the country, and the route was from Seoul, Chuncheon and Jeju Island, South Korea.

Before setting off, the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League made a careful preparation and carried out collective training in Beijing, inviting persons in charge from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League to introduce South Korea and the relation between China and South Korea, the profile of the reception unit Department of Female Family, confidentiality requirements and precautions for the visits, to enhance the understanding on Korea of members of delegation visiting Korea and their awareness of disciplines on foreign affairs.

During the period in Korea, Gong Zheng, a young singer, and Li Yang and a young dancer successfully completed the performing mission and were praised by the Korean side. Subsequently, "Chinese Youth Delegation" listened to the seminars with the subject of the Development of South Korea and China Development and Characteristics of Youth by Professor Kang Junrong and the Establishment of Historical Relation with Japan by Professor Song Xiyuan at "Hi Seoul Youth Hostel" in Seoul and Kyunghee University, advocating the mutual trust and cooperation between the youth at the both sides based on the current situations in Northeast Asia and the relations between China and Japan and between Korea and Japan, and jointly actively made efforts for the peace and stability of Northeast Asia. They watched Korean and Chinese Speech Competition and discussed with Chinese students in South Korea. Through mutually sharing overseas studying experience and feelings, members understood the origins and cultural differences between China and South Korea and fully felt the mutual respect and friendliness between the youth from these two countries. Then the delegation watched the fashion elements and art of living through the stage play Bibimbap at BIBAP.

In this event, the Delegation attached great importance to the mutual communication among members of the Delegation and they established deep friendship during these 7 nights and 8 days. This event of "Chinese Youth Delegation” promoted the blending of China and South Korea cultures and improved the friendship between peoples from these two counties in the harmonious and artistic atmosphere.
